Our beautiful, strong, and brave mother and grandmother, Judith Ann Keyes (Delebreau), 77, passed away on Saturday, December 16th, 2023 surrounded by her family.
Judy was born on July 31, 1946 to Joseph and Ernestine (Thiry) Delebreau. Judy was an amazing woman who was admired by her family for her strength to continue to fight through the hard times in her life, find a way to laugh through the sad times and had the biggest heart around, which was filled with love for those close to her. She was an avid reader, gardener, baker and loved to crochet for her family. She is loved and will be missed.
She is survived by her five children and their spouses and partners: Jerry (Maritza) Delebreau, Nick (Lisa) Pileggi, Tracy (Tim) Johnson, Sherry (Ty) Wilber and Melissa (Zack) Lembcke. Her siblings and their spouses and partners: Peter (Sandy) Delebreau, Kate (Bob) Schultz, Sue (Bob) Cropsey, Linda (Mike) Pagel, Cheryl (John) Athey, Joanne (Bob) Hellman, Debbie Walker (Steve Childers), Maureen Delebreau, Steve (Julie) Delebreau, Keith Delebreau, Christine (Pete) Smith-McCann, Kenny Delebreau, Mary Fletcher (Scott Erickson), and Rob (Jenny) Delebreau. Also left to cherish her memories are 10 grandchildren: Jacob, Teresa, Jerod, Johnny, Becca, Jeffrey, Jessica, Heaven, Libby and Sydney and step grandchildren, Matt and Christine Wilber, Hector and Angel Santaella and 12 great grandchildren, and former spouse, William J. Lembcke who remained in touch throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by her third husband, Gary L. Keyes (d. 2001) and her first husband, Louis V. Pileggi Jr. (d. 1969), her parents Joe and Ernie, three brothers: Joseph Delebreau Jr., Brian Delebreau and Danny Delebreau; daughter Jodi; great niece Mariah; and brother-in-law Daniel Smith.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, December 29, from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane. A memorial service will immediately follow at 12:30 PM.
The family would like to thank Kera and Jackie from Lakeland, the nurses at Caraton Commons Assisted Living. And the many nurses with hospice at St Croix.
