Judith (Judy) Clara Ostrenga, 77, of Little Suamico, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 after a battle with metastatic pancreatic cancer. Judy lived the saying, Family Always and Forever, No Matter What.

Judy was born on April 22, 1947 to Herbert and Helen Kasten in Sturgeon Bay. After Judy graduated from Southern Door County High School she went on to study elementary education at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh.

Judy was a teacher in the Green Bay School District for thirty four and a half years. Most recently as a 4th grade teacher for Webster Elementary School, Green Bay.

Judy met Ron at Leo's Tavern and they were married on February 20, 1981. Judy and Ron went on to have two sons, Jason and Michael (Mike) Ostrenga.

In 2005, Judy retired and spent her time bowling, sewing, quilting, baking, playing cards and spending time with friends and family. Judy was a member of the Quilting for Jesus group at St. Maximilian Kolby parish in Sobieski. Judy had a love for cardinals and her home is adorned with many cardinal knick knacks and keepsakes. Judy's four grandchildren, Jack, Ethan, Clara and Stella were her pride and joy.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Helen Kasten, sister Helen Buechner and brother-in-law Allen Buechner. She is survived by her husband Ron, children Jason (Amy), Mike (Maggie) and grandchildren Jack, Ethan, Clara and Stella. She is further survived by her siblings Robert Kasten, Donald (Jeanne) Kasten, Allen Kasten, Jean (Mike) Riederer and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at St. Maximilian Kolby Parish in Sobieski on Monday, March 3, 2025. A memorial gathering will be held from 8:30am-11:00am followed by a memorial mass at 11:00am.
