Obituary

Kenneth W. Engebretsen, 84, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 after losing his battle with Alzheimer's. He was born on Dec. 11, 1933 to the late William and Birdie (Bean) Engebretsen in Green Bay, WI. Ken attended West High School and served in the U.S. Navy for four years from 1952-1956. He married Anna Marie Lentz on Oct. 27, 1956. Ken drove stock cars in the sixties and served on the Little Suamico Fire Dept.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Anna; daughter, Debbie (Don) Exferd; son, Brian (Sunny) Engebretsen; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Guseck; brother, Don Engebretsen; sisters-in-law, Shirley (Marcel) Seymour, Carol Stark, Mary Lou Lentz, Karlene (Russell) Martens, Karen (Jerry) Korpi.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Louis and Mary Lentz; daughter, Doreen Gruszynski; brother, William Keith Engebretsen; sister, June Kramer; grandchildren, Chad Selissen, Derrick and Kevin Gruszynski; sisters-in-law, Laverna Webber, Joyce Olson, Betty Engebretsen; brothers-in-law, Jack Stark and Ervin Guseck; niece, Brenda Kreuser.
