Kristie Sue Waln passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2023, at the age of 37. She was born on June 3, 1985, to Terry and Sue (Jorgensen) Wieber. She is a graduate of the Class of 2003 from Bay Port High School, has an Associate Degree from NWTC in nursing, and then attained a Bachelor of Science-Nursing from Concordia University. In 2002, Kristie began dating the love of her life, Max. They were married in 2007. Kristie was a dedicated mother to their beautiful boy, Franklin, and a wonderful and loving wife.

Caring for others was in Kristie's DNA and she was always putting others needs in front of her own. She was recognized and appreciated for the work she had done as a nurse for 10 years, serving as a mentor and training new nurses. She was kind, sweet, had a beautiful smile, and truly wore her heart on her sleeve. Words can't express how incredibly wonderful Kristie was. She will be missed immensely.

Kristie is survived by her husband Max and son Franklin; parents, Terry and Sue; mother-in-law, Barbara; sisters-in-law, Kendis and Sarah; and many more family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 26 at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1145 Cardinal Lane) from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue Thursday, April 27 at Ss. Edward & Isidore Church (3667 Flintville Rd, Suamico) from 10:00 – 11:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow at 11:00 AM.
