Obituary

It is with deepest sorrow and much love that we mourn the loss of Linda (Lorch) Kaczrowski, 72, of Green Bay, WI on Thursday, December 3, 2020, as a result of COVID complications. She passed peacefully with her two children, Kristin and Trenton, by her side.

Linda was born in Milwaukee, WI on September 15, 1948, to the late Raymond and Dorothy Lorch. She graduated from UW Oshkosh with a teaching degree in Elementary Special Education and went on to earn her Master's Degree. She was a beloved elementary special education teacher for 35 years at Black Creek Elementary and Rockledge Elementary schools. After retirement, she went on to own and run the Black Forest Restaurant for many years. She made many dear friends along the way throughout her years teaching and owning the restaurant.

Linda loved her family and her friends dearly, with friendships spanning from her childhood to recent years. She was kind-hearted and loved by all who came to know her. She was an avid reader, had a passion for decorating and party planning, was a wonderful cook, loved to knit and crochet, and took pride in making her home and yard beautiful to share with all who came to visit. She loved her three dogs, Bacon, Luna, and Mike. She was always making sure her birds and squirrels in the yard were well fed and cared for. She had a green thumb and loved her flowers and plants. She enjoyed frequent luncheons with her friends and was enjoying her retirement to the fullest. She was a social butterfly with a love for life and was always quick to offer help and kindness to all of the people that came into her life.

Linda was preceded in death by her adored father, Raymond Lorch and mother, Dorothy Lorch as well as sister-in-law, Julie Lorch.

Linda leaves behind her loving children; Kristin (Dan) Metoxen and Trenton (Nicole) Edge; step-children, Todd (Tami) Kaczrowski, Paula (Al) Vander Meulen; grandchildren, Shawn (Larry), Ashley, Codie, Jacob, Haylee (Kyle), Makenzie, Wyatt, Walker, Quinten, Allison, and Vanessa, many great-grandchildren, as well as brothers Tom (Julie) and Ron (Nona) and many special nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind special friendships that meant so very much to her.

A special thank you to all of Linda's family and friends who offered prayers, support and love while she fought so hard to beat this. The family would also like to thank the caring ICU staff at both St. Mary's and St. Vincent hospitals. Linda's family will forever be grateful for their loving support.

A memorial service to celebrate Linda's life will be held in June 2021. Details will be shared in the coming months. Online condolences are welcome at www.PfotenhauerFuneralHome.com .
