Obituary

Lynn F. Welsing, 75, Suamico, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, January 18, 2018. She was born in Green Bay on March 9, 1942 to the late William and Rose (Cameron) Huxford. Lynn married Robert Welsing on Jan. 2, 1960. She lived in the Green Bay area all her life. Lynn was a loving wife and Mom and loved her family especially her grand and great grandchildren. She worked in the insurance industry for 31 years before retiring in 2004. Lynn and Bob loved Florida, Hawaii, Nashville and Vegas. Lynn and Bob were in a helicopter and submarine during their travels. Lynn did love her bus trips along side of her husband.  Lynn especially enjoyed time with her friend Ginger Schaut when they went to Scotland and England. Lynn loved working in the family memorial garden, reading, baking, crocheting; including prayer shawls which she donated to charities of her choice. Lynn sure was one feisty LADY.

Survivors include her husband, Robert J. Welsing; children, Michele (Mike) Simon; Daniel (Dee) Welsing; grandchildren, Michael (Krista), Matthew and Nathan Lewis; Ashley, Brian (Jessica) and Jack Welsing; step grandchildren, Eric Ives; Cassidy, Sage and Mike Jr. (Liz) Simon; great grandchildren, Isabella, Lyla and Embree; brothers, Richard (Beverly) Huxford; David Huxford; sisters, Mary (Jim) Deprey; Teri (Lavern) Nordby; Ginny (Don) Jared; Jeanne (Steve) Schomisch: special friends, Squeak and Mike (Selner); Ginger and Al Schaut; Greg (Emily) Dougherty and many others. Further survived by other friends and relatives.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Bobby; one brother; in-laws, Arnold (Ethel) Welsing; grandparents, Sarah (Arthur) Cameron; Arthur (Charlotte) Huxford; and other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 12 until 3:30 p.m. Memorial Service 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
