Lynwood B. Hart, 74, Howard, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 after a 4 year battle with multiple myeloma. He was born on June 10, 1942 in Iron Mountain, MI to the late George and Helen (Lindquist) Hart. Lynwood graduated from Kingsford High School and attended Northern Michigan University. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years and was honorably discharged. Lynwood married Charlene Ann Orler on June 30, 1962 at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. He lived 16 years in Hancock, MI and was a past board member of Marquette General Hospital. Lynwood was safety instructor with Uppco from 1983-1985, manager of personnel from 1985-1988 and vice president of human resources from 1988 to 1996. He was in human resources with WPS from 1998 to 2002. Lynwood was currently a church council member of Peace Lutheran Church and a board member of Happy Trails Resort of Surprise, AZ. He enjoyed golfing, Nascar, Green Bay Packers, reading, camping and spending time with family and grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife, Charlene; children, Kerri (James) King, Alexandria, MN; Kristine (Robert) Holm, Marquette, MI; Brian (Anna) Hart, Ishpeming, MI; Michelle (Galen) Tower, Waterford, MI; grandchildren, Justin and Travis Lee; Brianna and Zachary Holm; Peter, Anthony and Jaxon Hart; Jordan, Brandon and Carli Tower; Tyler and Jeremy King; Brianna Cope; great grandchildren, Peyton Lee; Lydia, Levi, Brodie and Andi King; Wren Cope; niece, Lynn Weinert Trulock.
Lynwood was preceded in death by his parents; George and Helen; sisters, DeAnn and Jeanine; brother, Leland; father and mother-in-law, Peter and Lucille Orler; brother-in-law, Ronald Orler.
Family and friends may call at Peace Lutheran Church, 1954 County Road U, Green Bay on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m. Funeral Service 11:30 a.m. at the church with Pastor Stuart Dornfeld officiating.
