Obituary

Margaret Mae Kleczka, 98, De Pere, passed away at home on Friday, June 2, 2017. She was born in Suamico on May 7, 1919 to the late William and Ruth (Cornell) Diederich. Margaret married Joseph F. Kleczka on Feb. 15, 1941 at St. Benedict Catholic Church. They were owners of the Silver Dollar Tavern in Suamico. He preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 1989. She was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. Gardening, fishing, canning, sewing, crocheting, especially rugs and doing arts and crafts were some of her specialties. Margaret loved playing cards and dancing every Sunday and she was a member of the Happy Hoppers Dance Club. Eating out three times a week was one of her requests after her retirement and most of the time her wish was granted. She would do anything for her children and grandchildren and she has.

Survivors include her children, Linda Kleczka-Vogel (John); Danial (Sharon) Kleczka; grandchildren, Dale (Jane) Gracyalny, Georgia; Gary (Andrea) Gracyalny, Milwaukee; Jennifer Kleczka, Green Bay; Melissa (Jeremy) Anderson, Texas; Tanya (Shawn) Galkowski, Oconto Falls; Jacob Kleczka, Georgia; Jared Kleczka, Michigan; Corey Kleczka, Florida; Jamie Lee Kleczka, Florida; many great grandchildren she loved dearly; two special sisters-in-law, Helen Kleczka and Verna Diederich; many nieces and nephews. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruth (Cornell) Diederich; husband, Joseph; daughter and son-in-law, Joyce (Tom) Gracyalny; in-laws, Walter and Anna (Nowaczyk) Kleczka; brother and sister-in-law, Othello (Ruby) Diederich; brother, Norbert Diederich; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth (Dorothy) Diederich.

Family and friends may call at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S Michigan St, De Pere, WI 54115, on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 9 until 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. at the church with the Rev.
