Obituary

Margaret Enderby (Pug) Denissen passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, June 1, 2018. She was born in Iowa City, Iowa on August 20, 1941 to the late Dr. Wayne and Madelin (Dutton) Enderby.

Margaret graduated from Green Bay West, proud to be a part of the acclaimed class of 1959. She remained close to many of her classmates. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1963, with a degree in International Relations. Upon graduation, she worked for the Green Bay Board of Education. Margaret married her best friend, Tom Denissen, on November 23, 1963. They were blessed with three children; Lori (Dave) Breager of Neenah. (Lori was her favorite), Charles (Cindy) Denissen of Suamico. (Charlie was her favorite), Paula (Jim) Christensen of Green Bay. (Paula was her favorite). She also was blessed with six wonderful grandchildren: James Christensen, Alex Denissen, Maddie Breager, Thomas Denissen, Aidan Christensen, and Delaney Christensen. Margaret is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Betsy and Dennis Oberer, Green Bay; a brother and sister-in-law, Pastor John and Pam Enderby, Shawnee, Kansas; a sister, Barb Fredrick, Green Bay, a sister-in-law, Sue Denissen Trzaskoma (Walt), Aiken, South Carolina; and many nieces and nephews. Margaret loved her special dog, Max.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Madelin Enderby, and mother and father-in-law, Charles and Barbara Denissen.

A visitation will be held at the Green Bay Community Church, 600 Cardinal Lane, on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service to follow with Pastor John Enderby officiating.
