Obituary

Marie (Gruell) Eichman was born on August 13, 1937 to George and Ruth Gruell in West Bend, WI. After High School, Marie moved to Green Bay, WI where she attended The Business College of Green Bay. There she met Edward (Sonny) Eichman. Marie and Sonny married on October 8, 1960 and began their life together for the next 56 years. Marie worked for many years with Bell Telephone Company where she was the supervisor over the Lineman Department, being one of the first women to hold a position of authority within the company. During this time, she had Julie Ann and Bryan John.

In 1972, Marie found her dream home and the family moved to Harbor Lights Road in Suamico, WI where she would call home for many years to come, welcoming all who needed a place to rest, have a cup of coffee or just a listening ear. This became the gathering place for family and friends.

Marie filled her life with hobbies that she was able to share with others, from singing, to sewing, to creating beautiful pieces of painted ceramics that continue to bring joy to the many people she has blessed them with.

Her grandchildren were Marie's life and they knew that grandma loved them unconditionally. In her sight, they could do no wrong. You could always find Marie loving on her grandchildren, gently speaking to them in a way that only grandma could, even in her final hours of life.

Marie was a phenomenal mom, sister, aunt, mother-in-law, wife and grandma and has left a gaping hole for all she has left behind, but we are each better people because of her impact on our lives.

She leaves behind her daughter Julie Anderson; son Bryan (Mollie) Eichman; her 5 precious grandchildren, Joshua Anderson, Rachel (Sean) Shoemaker, Emily Eichman, Max Eichman, & Brylie Eichman and 1 great granddaughter on the way, sister Debbie (Carl) Busse and their children Tarah, Christa, and Katherine and many other friends and family that will dearly miss her.
