Obituary

Marilyn Elaine Snelling, 61, Green Bay went to her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 25, 2019. She was born in Osceola, Arkansas on April 9, 1958 to Lee and Fannie (Jones) Davis. Marilyn was married to Marvin Snelling Sr. She has three children, Breshenda Elaine Davis, Marvin Snelling Jr (Christy Lee Snelling) and LaTisha Walker (Andrew Williams). Marilyn was employed as a Softness lead at Proctor & Gamble in association with Apex for the past 15 years.

Marilyn and her children moved to Green Bay in 1989 from Norfolk Virginia. Marilyn was a woman of deep faith, she believed in God and through her religion she came to work with Living Word Ministries. She developed a close relationship with Pastor James Martin, who preceded her in death. Marilyn was a kind soul who kept to herself, but cared about others she encountered. Those lucky enough to meet her always have positive things to say about her, even when she believed it was unnoticed. Marilyn believed that through her faith in God that she would be healed and through her dedication, faith and love of others, she will be openly welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven rocking some stylish red outfit sharing spicy food and her love of God with all.

She was preceded in death by, grandmother Dorthy Jones, aunt Ruby Jones; uncle Tommie Jones.

Survivors include her parent's Lee Andrew Davis (Wanda Miles-Davis) and Fannie B Stewart; siblings Sammie Jones, Mark Davis (Tamera Davis) and Fernando Garry; daughter's Breshenda Davis and LaTisha Walker (Andrew Williams); son Marvin Snelling Jr (Christy Lee Snelling) and; her husband Marvin Snelling Sr. Further survived by her four grandchildren, Quadre Demarco Lee Davis, Deidre Andidson Lee Davis, Theorious Elektrik Lee Davis and Karisma Marie Walker; and other relatives and friends.
