Mary Ann D. (Hoogland) "Hoogie" Barth, 91, passed away with family by her side on January 7, 2026. She joined her late husband, Edward, on the day of their wedding anniversary, what would have been 70 years. She was able to celebrate 50 years together with him before his passing in 2006.

Mary Ann was born in Chicago, IL on July 25, 1934, to the late John and Nellie (Ketelaar) Hoogland. She and Edward had three children together: Vicki, Cindy, and Jim. She was a proud homemaker; family was very important to her. She loved to cook, travel, read, rosemaling (she was a talented artist), going to Door County, animals/pets - especially her cats and dogs.

Mary Ann is survived by her children, Cindy Eger and Jim Barth; grandchildren, Beau (Sarah) Barth and Danielle (Adam) Kuhn; great grandchildren, Cruz and Olivia Barth; step grandchildren, Brandon LaCosse and Cody LaCosse; step great grandchildren, Vincent and Ava LaCosse; sister-in-law, Phyllis Hoogland and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Barth; daughter, Vicki (Dave) Krause; parents; siblings, John "Jack" (Elaine) Hoogland, James Hoogland, and Francis (Kathy) Hoogland; daughter-in-law, Terri Barth; son-in-law, Rick Eger; brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Judy) Barth; mother-in-law, Erna (Harry) Walden; and father-in-law, Raymond (Sue) Barth.

A private service will be held.
