She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Suzy LaCombe; husband, Butch (Jule) Mellen; and brother, Joe Rayome.

Jo was a very beautiful, strong, smart woman. She loved to travel, enjoyed reading, playing Words with Friends, and kicking her daughter's butts in Yahtzee.  She was amazing in the kitchen and in the garden. A lot of her time was spent cooking and gardening, Jo loved flowers and the beauty of food. She shared that love with her entire family during the many family gatherings she planned every year. She loved her family and was so proud of her children and their accomplishments in life. Every invite she got from her children through great grandchildren, it seemed she never missed anything.  We always knew she was in the crowd because over every laugh hers stood out.  She had the most infectious laugh, it just made you smile. The way she bounced around, so happy, so loving, she shined and lit up every room she walked into. Jo will be forever missed. We love you to the moon and back!
