Obituary

Mary Ann Schingen, 79, Green Bay, passed away with family by her side on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. She was born in Milwaukee on Aug. 3, 1936 to the late Michael and Mary (Brost) Hohl. She received her nursing degree from St. Agnes School of Nursing and practiced as a licensed RN. Mary Ann married the love of her life, David Schingen on Nov. 9, 1957 in Menominee Falls. She spent most of her time in life raising her seven children.

Survivors include her children, Peter (C. Pink) Schingen, New Market, VA; Mary Jay Steveley, Charlotte, NC; Mark Schingen, Charlotte, NC; Martin (Beth) Schingen, Appleton; Melissa (Robert) McIntyre, Beaver Dam; Maureen Schingen-Thomas (Timothy), Green Bay; Marcia (Brian) Sengstock, Green Bay; grandchildren, Sara Schingen and her son Anthony; Nathan Schingen; Paige Schingen; Joshua and Benjamin Schingen; Kaitlyn McIntyre; Andra, David and Michael Platkowski; Nicolas (Ashley) White; Max White and Zachary Sengstock; brothers, Eugene Hohl and Marvin (Kathy) Hohl; her beloved beagle, Charlie Francis.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, David G. Schingen; her parents; sister, Geraldine Walters; brothers, Delbert and David Hohl.

Family and friends may call at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1420 Division St., Green Bay on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016 from 9 until 11:00 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. at the church with Father Michael Thiel officiating. Online condolences welcome at www.PfotenhauerFuneralHome.com
