Michael J. Matuszewski passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, at the age of 63.

He was born on February 6, 1953 to Theodore and Patricia (Laes) Matuszewski in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Mike graduated from Green Bay Southwest High School in 1971. Mike enlisted in the United States Navy in 1972 and was honorably discharged in 1975. He was a cook on the USS Eldorado, transport watercraft operator at Pearle Harbor and an electrician on the USS Dixon. Mike married Sharon Jossart in 1977; they divorced after several years of marriage and two sons. He spent much of his adult working years as an auto detailer. Mike enjoyed telling stories, loved spending time with his family, liked riding around town on his scooter and dearly loved his dog Tracker. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America.

Mike is survived by his mother Patricia Matuszewski; his two sons, Chad (Jamie Ertl) Matuszewski and Matthew (Miranda) Matuszewski; three grandchildren, Gavin, Aliyah and Artemis; three brothers, Tom (Wanda) Matuszewski, Don (Mary) Matuszewski and Tim Matuszewski; three sisters, Rosemary (Rod) Specht, Marsha (Mike) Baeten and Nancy (Javier) Martinez; and many nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his father Theodore C. Matuszewski and grandson Francis M. Ertl.
