Micheal "Mike" Frewerd, 54, passed away on January 21, 2025, with his family by his side. He was born on April 23, 1971, to Kathy Bresnahan and the late Louie Frewerd. Mike graduated from Menominee High School, Class of 1989, and went on to obtain a civil engineering degree from NWTC. He then went on to work for the State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation. On June 2, 2001, Mike married the love of his life, Heather Alley, and together they had two children, Ryan and Adam.

The greatest joy Mike had was being a father. He was proud to coach his boys in baseball and never missed any of their sporting events. When he wasn't with his family, you could find him tinkering with antique cars, some of which he owned. He was an avid sportsman, hunter, and snowmobiler. He also enjoyed watching the Packers and Brewers, attending many games in the day.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Heather; sons, Ryan and Adam; mother and stepfather, Kathy and Kerry Bresnahan; siblings, Sara Brethauer, Josh Frewerd, and Jesse (Katie) Frewerd; mother-in-law, Jo-Alyce Alley; and brother-in-law, Joel Alley. He is further survived by many more family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Louie Frewerd; father-in-law, Richard Alley, and stepbrothers, Corey and Kevin Bresnahan.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 28 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane. A funeral service will immediately follow.
