Myron (Iron Mike) Williquette, 85, Pound WI, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 14, 2021. He was born in Duck Creek on Sept. 14, 1935 to the late Roland and Margaret (Quinlan) Williquette. Myron was a Korean War veteran and served in the US Marine Corps. He married Antoinette Spickle on Sept. 8, 1956 in Yuma, AZ.  Myron retired from ironwork.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his earlier years. Later on he traveled all the states with his family in his motorhome which he enjoyed so much. Myron operated the Bridge Bar from 1985 until 1998 and he then operated the Country Junction in Pound from 1999 until 2012. He met a lot of wonderful and beautiful people in those years.

Survivors include his wife Antoinette (Toni) Williquette; children, Dori Williquette, Peggy (Lonnie) Williams, Daniel (Jill) Williquette, Donald (Lori) Williquette, Jody (George) Williquette, Traci McMorran; 16 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son Myron Paul Williquette Jr.; his parents; all his brothers and sisters.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, Green Bay on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 3 until 6:00 p.m. Memorial Service 6:00 p.m. followed by Military Honors. We have so many beautiful memories for 65 years in marriage creating a big beautiful family. He will be sadly missed.
