Nancy Lee Carpiaux, age 73, of Howard, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 26 th , 2023, at Bellin Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy was born on December 6, 1949, in Green Bay to the late Myron and Joyce Laurent. She graduated from Southwest High School, class of '68.
On May 5 th , 1973, she married the love of her life, Randy. They would have been celebrating their 50 th wedding anniversary this year. Nancy drove school bus for Lamers Bus Lines for 16 years for the Howard-Suamico school district. She truly loved her job. Nancy was also involved with Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts, volunteering at school, as well as teaching religion classes and volunteering at church. Anything that involved her children, she was a part of. One of her true passions was cooking for her family and knitting. Her most favorite past time was spending as much time as she could at her camper at Kelly Lake. This was her happy place where she enjoyed boating, fishing, sitting around the fire, cooking, and spending time with her family and many friends. Above all, Nancy lived for her children and grandchildren. They were her whole world, and in return she was theirs. She was the most amazing, hands on Grami to her three grandchildren, spending every moment possible with them. She loved life and lived it to the fullest.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Randy; daughter Stephanie (Jamie) Evraets; sons Tim Carpiaux and Brian Carpiaux; grandchildren Breanna Carpiaux, Sawyer Evraets and Porter Evraets; brother Mike (Lynn) Laurent, sisters Diane Christie and Julie (Keith) Frelich, brother-in-law Perry (Jo) Carpiaux and sister-in-law Tina (Dean) Springstroh, as well as many nieces and nephews to whom she was known as C-C. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her in-laws, Jules and Bernice Carpiaux and brother-in-law Dennis Christie.
Visitation will be held at St. John the Baptist Church, 2597 Glendale Ave (entrance directly across from the BP gas station) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 4, 2023; followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM.
