Norbert (Al)
Brunette
Oct 2, 1955 — Jul 15, 2016
Norbert (Al) Brunette, 60, Suamico, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on Friday, July 15, 2016. He was born on Oct. 2, 1955 to the late Norbert (Nubby) and Doris (White) Brunette. Al graduated from Bay Port in June of 73. He grew up commercial fishing on the Bay, hunting with his Pa, uncles and cousins and working for Jim Vickery driving truck at age 15. Al was a lifelong resident of the area. He married the love of his life LuAnn Atkinson on Sept. 19, 2009.
Al worked hard and played harder. He was a member of Satan's Outcast M.C. where he came up with the idea of a "Charity Ride" and was told to get it done and he did. Spending time with family and friends meant the world to Al. He enjoyed anything that would bring us together for some good "ol family fun. Al enjoyed demolition derbies, Crandon's Good 'ol Boy races, Mud Runs as a member of the Suamico Brush Eaters, anything North of 64, Ice Racing on Shawano Lake and the official start of Brunette Racing with his little brother as the driver of a Super Stock Truck. Just spending time on the deck with people he loved made all the blood, sweat and YEARS he put into the land well worth it! Al was always there to give support, encouragement, strength, guidance and his love.
Survivors include the love of his life, LuAnn; his two daughters, Kelly (Terry) Babino; Tammy Heise; their mother Susan; step daughter, Carrie (Andrew) Leisgang; his siblings, Evelyn (John) Melton; Montie (Jen) Brunette; Janet (Steve) Chilcoat; grandchildren, Amelia, Catrina, McKenzie, Rileah, Carissa, Courtney, Drew; great grandson, Landyn.
Al will be greatly missed by all who know and love him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; nephew; aunts, uncles and dear friends.
