Patrick A. Edlbeck, 85, Howard, passed away in his sleep at home on Thursday, July 28, 2016. He was born in Milwaukee on May 26, 1931 to the late Joseph and Ila (Stalbauer) Edlbeck. He graduated from West High School in 1948. Patrick married Margaret Camp in Milwaukee on Jan. 29, 1964. She preceded him in death on June 5, 2007. He was employed as an engineer for the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad and also worked at Diebold Corp., State of Wisconsin in the power plant and in the foster care system. Patrick was the owner of Edlbeck Communications for 30 years. He was a Howard resident for the last 47 years. Patrick loved going up north, music and playing the guitar and banjo.

Survivors include his children, Patrick J. Edlbeck; Michael Edlbeck and Susan Stordeur; grandsons, Joseph, Alex and Tim Stordeur; nieces and nephews, Michael Shane, Colleen (Mike) Schmidt and David Shane.

Patrick was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; his parents; sister, Sheila Shane; nephew, Eric Shane.
