Patrick John
Leannah
Apr 17, 1959 — Nov 22, 2022
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Patrick John "Soup" Leannah of Green Bay, WI. He passed away at age 63, unexpectedly of natural causes at home. Pat was born on April 17, 1959, to Francis and Mildred (Nordin) Leannah of Marinette, WI. In 1977 he graduated from Catholic Central High School, followed by an associate degree from Madison Area Technical College. He married Julie Ninneman in 1979, and they were blessed with three daughters. Pat worked at Schleis Floor Covering for many years. He was meticulous in his work and an admirable tradesman, a skill he generously shared by helping others with their home projects.
Pat was loved by all who knew him and will be remembered fondly. He was empathetic and enjoyed engaging with everyone from all walks of life, and kept an upbeat positive attitude. His philosophy was to leave any place better than he found it. Pat loved watching sports, listening to music from his wide variety of playlists, reading about history, and enjoying a beer on his patio deck. Pat was the most incredible father, his three girls the pride and joy of his life. He loved any chance he could get to spend time with them.
Pat is survived by daughters Ali Leannah, Carly Leannah (fiancé Sam Ceron), Morgan (Brennen) Frisque; siblings Mary (Terry) Girard, Joan (Loren) Leannah-Brumm, Susan (Thomas) McAllister, Bruce Leannah, and Michael (Geralyn) Leannah; nieces and nephews Jacci, Jennifer, Erica, Jessica, Melissa, Jake, Willa, Sam, Marissa, and Macey; ex-wife Julie, parents-in-law Dale and Kathy, sister-in-law Kelly, and countless dear friends.
Pat was preceded in death by parents Francis & Mildred (Nordin) Leannah, grandparents Joseph & Blanche Leannah and Axel & Signe Nordin, as well as his beloved dog Emma.
The funeral is Saturday, December 3, at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home, East Town, (2379 E Mason St., Green Bay, WI). Visitation begins at 2:00 pm, followed by service at 3:30 pm. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite band or sports t-shirt to commemorate Pat's laid- back personality. Online condolences are welcome at www.PfotenhauerFuneralHome.com .
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin, where Pat was a proud "Big" to his "Little Brother" Tacio (520 N. Broadway #220 Green Bay, WI 54303; https://bbbsnew.org/).
