Paul J. Kyles, 89, passed away peacefully with family by his side on August 9, 2022. He was born to the late Paul and Hilda (Bowers) Kyles on October 3, 1932, in Green Bay. Paul married the love of his life, Jane Cornell on November 5, 1955, at St. Philip Church and together they have celebrated 66 years of marriage.
In his younger years, Paul enjoyed to bowl and golf. He attended Central Catholic High School and St. Norbert College. He was an avid Packers fan, dating back to when they held their games at East High School. Paul served in the United States Army as a Master Sergeant and in the Korean War. He was a member of the Bellevue VFW and he and Jane are active members of Resurrection Catholic Church. Paul retired from Fort Howard Paper Co. after 39 years.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Jane Kyles; children, Daniel Kyles, James Kyles, Kathleen (Scott) Gille, and Gregory (Shelly) Kyles; grandchildren, Stephanie (Cory) Boncher, Chris Kyles, Phillip Kyles, Preston Kyles, Amanda Kyles, Ana (Brady) Nelson, Casey Kyles, John (Rena) Kyles, Matt (Kaitlin) Gille, Taylor Kyles, and Rachel Kyles; and siblings, Mark (Kris) Kyles, Mary (Chuck) Allard, Doug (Mary Jo) Kyles.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Fred, Steve, and Bill Kyles; sister, Judy Kyles; and two granddaughters, Jenna Gille and Angie Strasse.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 16, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, East-Town, with a service and military honors to immediately follow at 1:30 PM. Online condolences are welcome at www.PfotenhauerFuneralHome.com .
