Peggy Jo Griffin, 86, formerly of Virginia Beach, VA, died January 23, 2016 at Woodside Lutheran Home, Green Bay, WI. Peggy was born in Asheville, NC on April 1, 1929 to the late Thomas C. and Sarah Madeline Johnson and graduated from Lee H. Edwards High School in 1947. On August 7, 1949 she married Carl D. Griffin, Jr. and had five children: Debbie, Randy, Scott, Pam, and Susan. She was a member of London Bridge Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, VA.

She is survived by three children: Debbie (Gary) Burden, Green Bay; Pam Smith, Hertford, NC; and Scott Griffin, Virginia Beach. She will also be sadly missed by eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

She was predeceased by her parents, sisters Sarah Sutton and Patricia Carver, husband Carl Griffin, Jr., son Randy Griffin, daughter Susan Griffin, son-in-law Wilbert Smith, and granddaughter Amber Queenan.
