Phyllis Mae Amundson, 82, passed away peacefully with family by her side on July 7, 2024. She was born to the late Felix and Vivian (Coleman) Chaltry in Michigan on April 2, 1942. Phyllis enjoyed traveling the world, exploring her genealogy, antiquing, cuddling with her cats by the fireplace, listening to all kinds of music and spending time with her family.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Kym St. Clair, Kris Mazurkiewicz (Barb Secor), and Dayton L. Amundson (Todd); grandchildren, Jarod (Ashley) Hogan, Andrew (Brittany) Hogan, and Dylan Mazurkiewicz (Whitney Rios); great-grandchildren, Elliott Hogan, Alexander Hogan, and Felicity Hogan; and sister, Mary Ann Falk.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dayton E. Amundson; parents; and siblings, Roselyn Chaltry-Minar and Carl Chaltry.

Friends and family may call at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home, Howard-Suamico location, (1145 Cardinal Lane) on Saturday, July 13 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM.
