Obituary

Phyllis M. (Delaney) Moes, 79, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 surrounded by love and family. She was born July 14, 1936 in Green Bay to the late Clarence and Violet (Crevcoure) Delaney. She graduated from West High with the class of 1954. On April 4th, 1959 she married Norbert Moes and together they raised 6 amazing children.

Phyllis' career started with Kelly Services by getting a job in banking, with a short term move to California to help open a new branch. She then sold Sarah Coventry jewelry out of the home (old school Lia Sophia) and ended as a secretary at the Catholic Diocese of Green Bay. Over the years Phyllis volunteered as pianist/organist at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Howard and vocalist and pianist for the Chantelles.

She enjoyed playing the piano, cross stitch, crochet, knitting, embroidery, reading and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Norbert; children, Amy Zahn, Teresa (Tony) Caramanidis, Tim (Lori) Moes, Jon (Amanda Brunky) Moes, Kate (Craig) Jankowski, Becky (Luke) Lemmens; grandchildren, Torre (Ryan) Klein, Bryce (Dani) Moes, Nathan Zahn, Abigayle Zahn, Kayla (Alfonso Lopez) Voelker, Bradden Schmidt, Kyle Moes, Samantha (Brandon Hunt) Caramanidis, Owen Lemmens, Lilly Lemmens; great grandchildren, Sophia Klein, Sawyer Klein, Jaxson Lopez; sister, Barbara (Paul) Willems; sisters-in-law; Rogene Delaney, Nancy Moes; brother-in-law Mark (Karen) McMillin and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, parents-in-law, brother Robert Delaney, sister-in-law Kathy McMillin, brother-in-law Thomas Moes.

Friends and family may gather at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home, 1145 Cardinal Lane, on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 4 until 6:00 p.m. Celebration of Life Service to follow. Online condolences welcome at www.PfotenhauerFuneralHome.com
