Raymond A. Delvoye, age 89, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026, surrounded by his family. Raymond was born to Alvina (Luedke) and Joseph Delvoye. On February 4, 1961, he married the love of his life, Sarah Pagel, and together they shared nearly 65 years of marriage. Ray and Sarah farmed for 60 years before retiring in 1998.
Ray had a deep love for polka music and enjoyed playing the accordion. He also cherished traveling with his wife and friends, as well as hunting and fishing in his earlier years. Ray was well known for his sense of humor and his playful teasing of friends and family.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Delvoye; his children, Wayne (Amy) Delvoye, Amy Delvoye, and Mary (Tony) Delvoye; his grandchildren, Jacob, Tyler, Grant, Chase (Heidi), Casandra (Austin), Abigail (Travis), Casey, and Bryson; and his great-grandchildren, Jaxton, Desi, twins Cashton and Levi, with one more great-grandchild on the way. He is also survived by his sister, Janice; his sisters-in-law, Beverly, Rita, Suzanne, Janice (Gary), and Karen (Gary); his brothers-in-law, Michael (Lynn) and David (Becky); and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Alvina Delvoye; his siblings, Isabelle, Dorothy (Ken), Donald (Betty), Norbert, Leo, Melvin (Marie), Robert, Roger, Gerald, and Judy; and his brothers-in-law, Dennis, Henry Jr, and Norm.
The family would like to thank Bellin Hospital, 8th floor, for the kind and compassionate care they provided for Ray.
A wake service for Ray will be held at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home – Howard-Suamico, 1145 Cardinal Lane, on Wednesday, February 4, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a prayer service concluding the evening. Visitation will continue Thursday, February 5, at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 3370 Deer Field Lane, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial.
