Richard "Dick" Lalonde, 69, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 14, 2023. He was born February 15, 1954, to the late Lester and Mary Lalonde in Shawano. He graduated from Bay Port in 1972. He helped in the design and building of the Bay Port Anchor.

Dick served in the United States Marines from 1975 – 1979 as Military Police and a sharpshooter. After his service in the military, he worked 30+ years in the flooring industry as an installer. Dick was an avid hunter, sportsman, boater, and enjoyed fishing in his earlier years. He spent a lot of time with friends at his home away from home, Four Way in Suamico.

Survivors include his son, Trevor Drath; sisters, Jean (Gary) Maes, Joyce Clark, Barbara Lowe, and Ruth (Jim) Vandenhoven; brother, Harry Lalonde; nephew, John Nockerts; and many more nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law, Bill Lowe and Gordon Nockerts; uncle, Russ Lalonde and many other aunts and uncles.

A memorial visitation will be held at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 3:00 until 6:00 PM.
