Richard (Dick) Neitzel, age 82, passed away into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 24, 2015. Richard was born November 10, 1932 in Milwaukee to the late Edna and Walter Neitzel. He was their only child. In 1988 he married his soul mate and surviving wife Carole Vandertie Bell. He is survived by his three children and three stepchildren, Mark Neitzel and special friend Kathleen Klister, Hartland; Connie (Mark) Napriella, Waukesha; Cory Neitzel, Suamico; Terri (Mike) Vandenhouten, Brussels; Steve (Kim) Bell, Sturgeon Bay; Tammy (Mark) Whitney, Neenah; fifteen grandchildren: Rachel (Joe) Audette, Combined Locks; Marc (Sarah) Vandenhouten, New Franken; Tyler (Ashley) Ronsman, Madison; Daniel Vandenhouten,Washington; Stephanie Bell, Springfield, MO; Stacie Bell, Tabor College KS; Kayley and Eli Bell, Sturgeon Bay; Jacob Neitzel, Suamico; Evan Neiman, Pulaski, Cassandra ( Jeff ) Mason, Stoughton; Nicholas, Abbey and Megan Neitzel, Hartland; Samantha Napriella, Waukesha; great grandchild, Greyson Audette. Dick started Neitzel Pattern in Green Bay, WI in 1964. He was past president of the Howard-Suamico Optimist Club and very involved in their mission. Dick and Carole lived and worked in the Green Bay Area and moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in 2003. Carole pastored a church there and both were involved in prison ministry at Marquette St. Prison. Dick was also very active in Wisconsin Via DeChristo in both the Southern SonRise and Northern Lights VDC retreats. Visitation will be Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Grace Lutheran Church, 501 S. Main St., Oconto Falls at 10:00 am and the memorial service at 11:00 am with lunch following.
