Obituary

Robert (Bob) D. Moran passed into heaven October 2, 2022 with his wife Janet by his side. Bob was born November 16, 1937 to John and Susan (Morris) Moran in the Town of Glenmore, Wisconsin and attended a country school and then graduated from St Norbert High School in West De Pere, Wisconsin. Bob married Janet Albrecht on November 5, 1983.

Bob worked at Paper Converting Machine retiring in 1994. Bob enjoyed rabbit hunting in Mitchell South Dakota, elk hunting in Wyoming/Montana on horseback along with yearly hunting trips up North and ice fishing in Bemidji, Minnesota with his buddies. During the spring, summer and fall you could find Bob gardening and tending to his vegetables and flowers and sharing with neighbors and friends. Bob loved perch fishing on the Bay and trout fishing on Lake Michigan with Janet. And during the winter ice fishing on Lake Winnebago and on the Bay of Green Bay with Janet and friends and also snowmobiling on the Bay of Green Bay. Bob enjoyed going to Packer Games both in Green Bay and Milwaukee with his buddies. Bob's hobbies were cooking, barbequing, making his own booyah kettle, booyah parties in the garage and helping whatever neighbor/friend who needed help with any projects in addition to his own projects.

Bob is survived by his wife, Janet and his special relatives, Irene, Judy, Mary, Brenda, Kayla, Brooklyn, Mike, Mark and Trigger. Thank you for your many phone calls, visits and lunches and good times together. Bob was predeceased by his parents, sisters and brothers and their spouses: Margaret (Adrian) Moran Kerkhoff, Clarence (Clara) Moran, Marcella (Edward) Moran Barth, Jack (John) (Esther) (Cece) Moran, Katherine (Marvin) Moran Roffers and James (Patricia) Moran. Bob also was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Marie G. Olson and nephews, Louie Kerkhoff, Merlin Kerkhoff and Timothy Moran and niece, Ruth Jansen.

Services to be held Saturday October 8, 2022, at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home, 2379 East Mason Street, Green Bay, Wisconsin, 10:00 AM visitation with services to follow at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers and donations please make donations to a charity of your choice or Unity Hospice in Bob's name.
