Robert "Bob" Nejedlo, 74, passed away on December 14, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 11, 1948, to the late Francis "Fritz" and June Nejedlo. He married Caryl (Pierquet) Nejedlo. Bob is a graduate of East High School, class of 1966. He is a United States Veteran having served our country in the U.S. Coast Guard for 4 years. He served on the Island of Yap in the South Pacific, manning and maintaining a Loran Station. When Bob met Caryl he quickly knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. They married on September 27, 1969. They were blessed with three children.
Robert was a Fireman for the City of Green Bay early in his career. He also was the Director of Engineering at Tufco Industries in Green Bay, Wisconsin and later the Product Development Manager at Belmark Inc. in East De Pere. He rounded up his career as co-owner of the Green Bay Christian Book Shoppe with his wife, Caryl. Bob loved the Lord with all of his heart. Family was very important to him and was evident by how much time he spent with his wife, kids, and grandkids. He enjoyed supporting his grandkids in their many different athletic events and activities. He also loved watching football, and in his early years hunting with his sons, and fishing. Bob and Caryl appreciated many road trips to Door County with special friends and time on the Bay with family. Bob also served as an Elder at Green Bay Community Church and Harvest Community Church.
Bob is survived by his wife, Caryl; sons, John (Brenda) Nejedlo and Scott (Stephanie) Nejedlo, Scott's children: Matthew, Michael, McKenzie, and Mason; daughter, Carrie (Steve) Birr and her children: Taylor and Ashton; siblings, Thomas (Celia) Nejedlo, Judy Wouters, Jean (Norman) Gerloff, and his twin sister Mary (John) Gregg; and many more family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Francis and June.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Harvest Community Church (E1479 Rockledge Rd, Luxemburg). A memorial service will immediately follow at 11:00 am. Online condolences are welcome at www.PfotenhauerFuneralHome.com.
