Roy W. Krause, 68, setting to rest as the sun set, entered the heavenly fields of the Lord on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 with the ever loving arms of his wife Bonnie and son Brett holding and guiding him. The son of Herman and Gladys Krause returned to heaven on the homestead he originally entered the world on. While attending Pulaski High, he toiled in the fields. Upon graduation he began his career at Oneida Golf Course and then moving to Village Greens Golf Course as superintendent where he later retired. Roy enjoyed tractor collecting, receiving his phone calls from Chuck and Hal, traveling the countryside with Brett and Bonnie attending auctions and loved just sitting and listening to someone visiting. On October 25, 1969 he married Bonnie Slye and they have celebrated together for over 45 years. Roy enjoyed "puttsin" in the shed with his best friend and buddy, his son Brett. Roy was a 30 year member of the Bay Port FFA Alumni helping with many different activities, functions and fundraisers. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; son, Brett; brother and sister-in-law, Paul (Jane) Krause and their children, Jill (Dan) Paulson; Lyn (John) McCaughtey; Joy (Jim) Steinberger; Jon (Sara) Krause; sister-in-law, Linda (Scott) Remington and her daughter, Jessica (special friend Brian); and many wonderful friends he cherished dearly. Roy is joined in heaven by his parents, Herman and Gladys Krause; special aunt, Katherine Wondrash.
