Ruth Ann was born to Alwin and Elizabeth Meyer October 23, 1934. She graduated from West High School in 1952. Ruth worked as a stenographer for Retail Credit Company (now Equifax) and later worked as a secretary for the Physical Therapy Department at St. Mary's Hospital, retiring in 1996. Ruth married Jerome in 1956. Ruth enjoyed spending time with Jerome at their cottage on Pelican Lake, WI. She also enjoyed traveling to big cities, especially New York, with her daughter, Cathy.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Jerome; four children, Cathy, Green Bay, Tom (Laurie), Little Chute, Paul, Green Bay and Jim, Phillips, WI; and one granddaughter, Rebecca Gerrits, whom she treasured time with. She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Julianna Gerrits.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Marion (Harold) Matthews, Lorraine (Clifford) Kocha, and Leotta (Norman) Paape.

Ruth was a kind, welcoming person who looked for the best in life, touched many hearts and will be deeply missed. It was Ruth's wishes not to have a funeral but a prayer would be appreciated by friends and relatives.
