Obituary

Sandra Lee (Lindstrom) Huss passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born on April 6, 1944 in Menominee, MI to Alfred and Dorothy Lindstrom. Sandy graduated from Marinette High School. She married Harvey Huss on May 19, 1973. They would have celebrated 43 years of marriage this year. Sandy had many jobs throughout her life but by far her favorite was that of Mom and Grandma.

Sandy was best known for making everyone feel like family and made sure you never left her house hungry. Anyone who visited always left with a full stomach and Tupperware full of leftovers, sweets and whatever else she had to offer.

She enjoyed spending time at their cottage in Crivitz or as she called it, "camp". She especially looked forward to time there with the grandkids. No doubt they will miss their trips to the Dollar Store, McDonalds and the park and the endless ways Grandma spoiled them. If she wasn't at camp she was at one of their many baseball and softball games, Christmas concerts or other events.

Sandy is survived by her husband Harvey; daughter Lisa (Benjamin) LaCount and their daughter Maia Elizabeth; son Mike (Kimberly) Huss and their sons Brady Michael and Blake Edward and her beloved "grand-dogs" Macy, Jersey Girl and Hugo. She is further survived by one brother Al "Fritz" Lindstrom, Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends Pat and Jim Vogeltanz.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents Al and Dorothy; her in- laws Cliff and Agnes Huss; and her brothers Tim and Richard Lindstrom along with her brothers-in-law and sisters- in-law.

A Celebration of Sandy's Life will be held at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016 from 10 until 12:00 p.m. Funeral Service 12:00 noon Saturday at the funeral home. Online condolences welcome at www.PfotenhauerFuneralHome.com

A special thank you to the 4 th floor nursing staff at Bellin Hospital, especially Ashley D. and Annie for taking such incredible care of Sandy and her family during her stay there. The family would also like to thank Unity Hospice and their team that helped them through the final days.

Sandy would not want us to be sad. She would want us to laugh and tell stories of the good old days instead.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name at the funeral home.
