Sandra (Sandy) J. Wagner, age 86, of Howard, WI, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023. She was born in Poygan, WI, on July 25, 1936, to the late Harold and Lucille (Schwochert) Schmude.

Sandy graduated from Omro High School, Class of 1954. She married Wayne Wagner on March 11, 1961, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Oshkosh. Sandy and Wayne farmed and owned a dry cleaning business near Berlin, WI. She was a dedicated Mom and homemaker.

Sandy enjoyed being outdoors, reading, watching the Packers and being a part of her church community. The things she valued most included her faith journey and investing time in her relationships with family and friends.

Sandy, devoted wife and loving mom is survived by her 3 children, Michelle (Eric) Nikolai of Manitowoc, Scott (Tina) Wagner of Appleton, Amy Heidenreich of Green Bay, 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne, brother, Kenneth Schmude and son-in-law, Fritz Heidenreich.

A memorial visitation will be held at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 2999 Lakeview Drive, Suamico, WI, on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
