Sandra Carol (Riemer) Peters has left her earthly home to enter her heavenly home on Thursday, August 30, 2018. She was born to Harry Carl and Carol Virginia (Raasch) Riemer on Oct. 19, 1946 in Medford, WI. She led an interesting life, which included growing up amongst the Amish in Holloway, WI. Sandy spent her happiest time with her Grandma Bertha and Grandpa Edward, with no electricity but a lot of adventures. She graduated from Kewaunee High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy where she was a Hospital Corpsman at Newport Naval Hospital. Upon her honorable discharge, she met and married Norman Peters Jr. on June 28, 1969. They went on to have three children and nine grandchildren.

She is survived by spouse and children, Norman Peters Jr., Norman Peters III (Redebra), Kelly Rafferty and Tamra (Camron) Justice, grandchildren Derek and Caitlin Peters, Christian, Aidan, Faith and Grace Rafferty and Lillian, Evelyn and Liam Justice and siblings Terry (Bev) Riemer, Marge (Stuart) Carpenter, Bonita Riemer, Russell Riemer, Michael (Debbie) Riemer, and Patrick Reimer.

Sandy was preceded in death and has been reunited with her parents, grandparents, and in-laws.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 5 until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service 7:00 p.m. followed by Military Honors.
