Scott Joseph Leitermann died peacefully in his sleep in the early morning of July 5, 2021, surrounded by loved ones. He was born April 25, 1969, in Kimberly, Wisconsin to James and Phyllis (Nackers) Leitermann. Scott graduated from Kimberly High School and The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh where he met and later married Jenny Crooks. As a computer programmer, Scott worked first at American Medical Security, and later at Krueger International as a Senior Software Developer within the I.S. department. Scott enjoyed playing guitar, making people laugh with his engaging smile and sometimes inappropriate humor, and spending time at his cottage with his wife and two sassy, but adorable, dogs.

Scott is survived by his wife Jenny Crooks, parents James and Phyllis (Nackers) Leitermann, siblings Dan (Patti) Leitermann, Brenda (Dave) Fries, and Randy (Erin) Leitermann, nephews Travis Leitermann, Ryan Fries, Owen Fries, Drew Leitermann, and nieces Kailyn Fries, Jenna Leitermann and Chloe Leitermann. He is further survived by his mother-in-law Kathy Ryan, father-in-law Steve Ryan, sisters-in-law Mary Crooks and Susan (Terry) Crooks, and nieces-in-law Tasha Crooks, Adrienne Ryser, Laurel Ryser, Brianna Crooks, and Ariella Crooks.

In lieu of a memorial service, per Scott's request, a private gathering of just his immediate family will be held to honor his life. The family would also like to thank Dr. Ruth Warren and Brittany Walczyk at Green Bay Oncology for their care and compassion. Scott died loving very deeply and knowing he was deeply loved in return.
