Stanton "Stan"
Lardinois
Sep 15, 1948 — Sep 7, 2025
Stanton "Stan" J. Lardinois
Age 76 of Howard unexpectedly passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025.
Stan was born on September 15, 1948, in Rosiere to the late Daniel and Grace (nee Willems). He was a member of a large family and was the loyal brother of Christine (Al) Carlotto, Howard; Colleen (John) Koenigseder, Holmen; Wayne Lardinois (deceased), Daniel (Barbara) Lardinois, De Pere; Beulah (Melvin) Delaruelle (deceased), Margie (Darrel, deceased) Columb, Sturgeon Bay; Margaret (Lester) Macco (deceased), Robert (Marian, deceased) Lardinois, Green Bay; Melvin (Anita) Lardinois (deceased), Vincent (Sandy) Lardinois, Colorado Springs.
He married his beloved wife Theresa (nee Kohlbeck, deceased) on May 6, 1972, and became the loving brother-in-law to Sister Jolynn Kohlbeck, Manitowoc; Mark (deceased) (Pat) Kohlbeck, Neenah; Kathleen (Larry, deceased) Delarwelle, Greenville; and Barbara (Randy, deceased) Kostichka, Fort Atkinson.
Together the pair had two sons, Corey (Anna) of Milwaukee and Ryan of Oshkosh. Stan is remembered as a devoted father who coached little league teams, led Cub Scout troops and supported his sons' interests in technology. He was generous with his time and his advice.
Stan earned his MBA at Lakeland University and spent a majority of his career working in educational technology. He is remembered as a hard-working team member by his former colleagues at CESA 9, UW-Green Bay and NWTC, where he retired in 2012.
Ever a faithful servant, Stan was a devoted member of Saint John the Baptist Church in Howard. He shared his time and talent with the congregation, and could often be found greeting parishioners, ushering and other volunteer work. In his retirement, he spent time landscaping at Cemetery of the Holy Sepulchre and he was a member of the Garden Angels.
Stan was a selfless man who donated gallons of blood over the course of his life. He was blessed with many friends and loved making people laugh. Despite his many health issues, he still made sure he teased his healthcare providers, especially the nurses.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, at Saint John the Baptist Church in Howard (2597 Glendale Ave, entrance directly across from the BP gas station) from 10:00am to 12:00pm, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00pm. A burial will follow at Saint Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Algoma.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint John the Baptist Church in memory
of Stan.
