Steven W. VanBellinger, 69, Crivitz, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016. He was born in Green Bay on Aug. 14, 1946 to the late Walter and June (Rein) VanBellinger. He graduated from Preble High School. Steven served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. On March 17, 1980 he married the love of his life, Cheri Laes. In addition to operating a dairy farm, together they were third generation owners/operators of the pony rides at Bay Beach Amusement Park for the past 39 years. He enjoyed their yearly trip out west and he greatly enjoyed attending gun shows with his friend (Butch).
Survivors include his wife, Cheri; children, Judy, Wally, David and Bobby; numerous grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers and sisters, Mary (Kerry) VandeHei; Bobby VanBellinger; Ruth (Keith) Johnson; mother-in-law, Ruth Laes; sisters-in-law, Krissi (Marv) Dorn; Teri Cornelius; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Holly, Heidi, Dawn, Stevie; special friends, Cheryl, Marcus, Jose and Carlos. Further survived by other relatives and friends and will be greatly missed by his four legged best friend "Stevie".
A Celebration of His Life will be held at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 2379 East Mason St., Green Bay on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016 from 5 until 8:00 p.m. Memorial Service 8:00 p.m. followed by Military Honors. Online condolences welcome at www.PfotenhauerFuneralHome.com
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home.
