Sue Kaminecki Maddix, 71, of Green Bay WI, passed away peacefully May 17, 2022 due to lengthy complications as a result of having a stroke while having a brain tumor removed.

Sue loved visiting with family and friends, spending time with her cherished grandchildren, long walks, reading murder mysteries, computer games, and especially spending time at the casino.

Sue is survived by her Significant Other of 18 years Samuel Castillo; Son Joshua Maddix; Daughter Tessa Christjohn; Step-Daughter Jessica Brunner; Grandchildren Morgan Maddix, Carson Maddix-Christjohn, Jaydin Maddix-Christjohn; Great-granchild Lilah Martens; Father-In-law Mike McCourt; Brother Gary (Linda) Kaminecki; Nieces Robin and Paula; She is also survived by Sam's children; Sammy Jr , Denise, Jessica and Josh and Sam's siblings; David, Naomi, Manuel, Elizabeth, Rachel, Ruben; Maddix Family; Shirley, Gary (Carol), Kathy (Don), Mooch (Anne), Lisa (Ken), Laurie, Ray, and Shelly.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Dorothy Kaminecki; Ex Husband Jim Maddix; Mother In-law Dolores McCourt; David and Leeann Maddix, Don Schuessler; Sam's parents Jose and Josephine; siblings Lee, Paul, Dan and Rebecca.

The family would like to thank both Froedhert and St. Vincent Hospitals for their tremendous care, compassion, and continued love and support for Sue.

Also, thank you ALL for your love, prayers, and continuous support during her long battle. You helped us get through this trying time. Sue's service will be held Monday, May 23rd from 4:00pm-6:00pm with a prayer service at 6pm. Services will be held at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services Westside location, 1145 Cardinal Lane Green Bay, WI 54313.
