Thomas Crawford Mayers Jr., 92, passed away at home on March 27, 2024, after a brief illness. He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 10 years, Ann, and her family.  Tom and Ann met and married in Naples, FL. Together they enjoyed many years of happiness and traveling the world together.  Tom was born on August 28, 1931, in Newark, NJ.  He proudly served in the United States Navy and received a Navy scholarship to Holy Cross College in Worchester, MA.  Following graduation, he was assigned to Sasebo Japan where he lived with his first wife and elder son, during his Navy tour of duty.  Afterwards, Tom spent his career in retail management in NY.  Upon retirement, he devoted himself to his works of charity for his catholic church.  He pursued a master's degree in theology during those years.  Tom was an avid golfer, loved reading and basketball.

He is further survived by his sons, Thomas Crawford III (Carolyn) in Covallis, OR and Joseph Andrew aka Sam Webster in Richmond, CA; brother, Paul (Mary) in Hilton Head, SC; sisters, Ruth Schofield (Bart) in Rio Rancho, NM, Eileen Zebroski in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Rosemary Collyer (Phil) in Rockville, MD, and Brenda Danielson in Seal Beach, CA.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Andrea Gale Kukis; sisters, Mary Alice Young and Marjorie Ann Wolf; and brother, Lawrence Michael.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, April 5 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM with a mass to follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (2597 Glendale Avenue, Green Bay, WI; directly across from the BP gas station).
