Timothy D.
Bloom, Jr.
Feb 12, 1982 — Jun 7, 2021
Timothy D. Bloom Jr. was taken too soon in a work accident on Monday June 7, 2021. Tim was born Feb 12, 1982 to Brenda (Tilque) Bloom and Timothy Daniel Bloom Sr. He attended Bay Port High School (Howard) where he excelled in baseball and developed a love for the game. On April 21, 2007, Tim married his high school sweetheart, Ashley Gerczak, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Little Suamico. They had two beautiful daughters who next to Ashley were everything to him. Lillian Lee Bloom was born March 21, 2006, and Madison Lee Bloom was born December 23, 2008.
Tim was always there with a helping hand and never needed anything in return. He had so much compassion and to him, family was everything. He loved going on long vacations, in and out of state, and showing his family the beautiful scenery that the world has to offer. His patience allowed him the ability to guide and teach others. He was able to pass along the knowledge and life skills that he learned from his family, to every person he encountered. Tim had this uncanny ability to treat all children as if they were one of his own, especially his nieces and nephews who often referred to him as "Super Dad." Tim had a zest for life, and a knack for being the calming and welcoming presence in any situation.
Survivors include his wife, Ashley L. Bloom and their children, Lillian L. and Madison L. Bloom; his parents Timothy and Brenda Bloom, Sr.; brother Michael (Allison) Bloom; nieces, Andie, Emma and Mila Bloom; father and mother-in-law Michael and Sandra Gerczak; sister-in-law Mollie (Jeff) Mekash; nephews, Cooper, Corbin and Cutter Mekash; numerous aunts and uncles; grandparents, Joan Tilque, Harvey and Dolores Bloom, and Evelyn Kamps. Tim is further survived by a large extended family, special friends, neighbors, and his dog, Remi.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Vernon Tilque, Alvin and Delores Gerczak, and William Kamps; great-grandparents, Peter and Josephine Tilque, Aurelia Barth, Edward and Helen Bloom; uncles, Patrick Tilque and Eddie McAllister.
Even though Tim has passed, he continues to live on through others by being a donor. God opened his arms and welcomed Tim home with a smile and the compassion that Tim always showed others.
