Suamico – Tommy Martin Valentine, 76, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, January 7, 2021. He was born in Milwaukee on February 21, 1944 to the late Frederic and Leila (Wright) Valentine. He married Nancy Lee Christensen on April 1, 1967 in Green Bay at Calvary Lutheran Church. Tommy served in the US Navy and was honorably discharged. He was employed as a semi-truck driver for Red Owl and Super Valu. Tommy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be remembered for all of his Suamico stories from the past.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Bret (Judy Dinse) Valentine and Brenda (James) Moser; grandchildren, Brandon (Danielle) Roberts, Holly (Nick Steffens) Roberts, Madelyn Valentine, Andrew Valentine, Alyssa and Jacob Moser; his sister in law, Janet (Valentine) Rasmussen; in-laws, Thomas (Maureen) Christensen, Doug (Tom Pozniak) Christensen, Scott (Lori) Christensen, and Jay Christensen. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
Further survived by special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Frederic and Leila Valentine, Father and Mother in law, Arthur and Elaine Christensen; Grandparents, Martin and Florence Wright, Edward and Laura Valentine; siblings, Glenn Valentine and Larry (Diane) Valentine.
It is with a thankful heart I say thank you to the staff of Unity Hospice for the support and visits to our home.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, Green Bay, on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 4 until 6:00 p.m. A private family service will be held at 6:00 p.m. with Greg Roberts officiating.
