Wallace E. (Wally) McDonald, 85 of Abrams, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 5, 2017. He was born May 9, 1932 in Green Bay to the late Patrick and Viola (Souve) McDonald. Wally served in the US Navy. He was employed as a maintenance engineer at Austin Straubel Airport. Wally was married to Delilah Vollmer from Tigerton, Wisconsin who preceded him in death. He later married Marie Bartz and resided in Abrams, WI. He enjoyed traveling, bowling and golf.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Bartz, Abrams, WI; son, Patrick (Raylene) McDonald, Sobieski; daughter, Cindy (Mike) Gillis, Suamico; son, Kevin (Linda) McDonald, Green Bay; daughter, Lori Peters, Pulaski; daughter, Michelle (Todd) Cullen, Green Bay; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; half brothers and half sisters.

Wally was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Delilah (Vollmer) McDonald; daughter, Dianne (Thomas) Schaefer of Appleton; other relatives and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 3:00 until 4:30 p.m. Funeral Service 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
