Wayne A.
Piontek
Aug 10, 1967 — Feb 26, 2022
Wayne A. Piontek, 54, passed away at home on February 26, 2022, in the arms of his best friend and love, Lisa. Wayne was born on August 10, 1967, to the late Donald and Cynthia (Mueller) Piontek. He graduated from Premontre High School in 1985. After schooling, Wayne enlisted in the United States Army and on his last assignment, he served overseas in the United Kingdom. While in the Army, he was awarded multiple decorations for his service. In 2005, Wayne was introduced to Lisa through mutual friends and have been inseparable since. They enjoyed the wild side of life together.
For the last 25 years, Wayne was a mill technician at Procter & Gamble in Green Bay and considered his coworkers as extended family. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, taking rides on his motorcycle, boating, golfing, and spoiling his pet kitty, Fancy. He also had a passion for helping animal shelters in need and attending various motorcycle rides for charity. Wayne was very proud of his extensive gun collection and loved to go listen to live rock music. Wayne was always a jokester, adventurous, and never took life too seriously. He made an everlasting impression, a fun, full of life kind of guy, and was loved by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
Wayne is survived by his loving partner of 17 years, Lisa Breault; grandmother, Verona Mueller; aunts, Mary Hughes, Lois DePouw, Linda (Ralph) Comins, Eileen (Don) Gutowski, Debbie (Jerry) Kozicki, and Elaine Piontek; uncles, Louis Mueller, Dale (Lois) Piontek, and Lyle Piontek; goddaughter, Cindy Chmelka; and many other cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Theodore Mueller and Anthony and Evelyn Piontek; and uncle, Patrick Rauterkus.
A visitation will be held Saturday, March 5 th , at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home, Howard, from 11 AM – 1 PM. A service led by Pastor Steve Fewell and military honors will follow.
