William J.
Julius
Jan 6, 1941 — Jul 19, 2025
William J. Julius, of Suamico, WI, passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 84. Bill was born on January 6, 1941, in Sheboygan, WI, and later moved to Suamico, WI. He dedicated 40 years of his life to his career as a pharmacist, first at Snyder Drug in Allouez, later at Streu's Pharmacy and Walgreens in Green Bay and part time at Oneida pharmacy - all where he served the community with care.
He is survived by his wife, Annette Julius; daughter Lynne (Dan) Holton; son Steve (Kristen) Julius; and his beloved grandchildren, Rose and Jameson Julius. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Helen Julius, and his sister, Patricia Atkinson.
A true outdoorsman, he enjoyed: hunting, gardening, camping, fishing, biking, and had been a runner who completed multiple marathons. He had a love for all things woodworking, especially woodturning bowls and was known for building everything from hunting tree stands to wood furniture. He could fix just about anything.
He had a million hobbies: maple syrup making (excellent), golfing (better than his son), winemaking (very poorly), playing cards, barbecuing and smoking meats. He was the first to try all new foods (or create his own) and enjoyed his supper clubs, fish frys and thought himself something of a mixologist. At various times, he was a member of the local woodworking club, sailing club, biking club and square dance group. He enjoyed cars and travel and after trying the RV life, settled in as a winter resident of Sun City, AZ.
Bill was friendly and easy to get along with. He would be surprised by the impact he had on the people around him, just by being himself. And proof of that is the volume of life-long friends who will miss him.
A celebration of life event will be shared at a later date.
