Obituary

Yvonne Wierzba, 83, passed away peacefully with family by her side on November 9, 2021. Yvonne was born in Coleman Wisconsin on May 21, 1938, to the late Ira and Frances Adams. On August 29, 1959, Yvonne married the love of her life, Frank, and together they have celebrated 62 wonderful years of marriage.

Yvonne grew up on a farm in Lena Wisconsin where she found her love and passion for horses.  She carried on that passion throughout her life riding, training, breeding, pulling slays, wagons, sulkies and buggies. Anything that you could do with horses Yvonne mastered it. She had a number of dogs her entire life that she loved very much and spent a lot of time with especially her last dog Kady.  Yvonne also loved the outdoors and liked to hunt, fish, ski and snowmobile with Frank and her three boys.  Yvonne also liked to take long walks in her neighborhood and playing cards.  She knew all of her neighbors and they all knew her.  She was very involved in St. John the Baptist Church and volunteering for a number of good causes including St. Vincent de Paul.   Yvonne would do anything for her three boys and was their rock and always in their corner to help and support them in anything they did or were involved in. Most of all Yvonne loved her husband Frank and spending all of her time with him. Very seldom did you see one without the other by their side.

Survivors include her beloved husband; children, Dave Wierzba and his special friend, Liz Jackson, granddaughters Mandy and Morgan. Jeff (Sherry) Wierzba, grandson Tae and granddaughter Maria.  Greg Wierzba and his special friend, Annie Burkel. Brother, Mural (Kay) Adams; and sisters, Anette (Bob) Schuetz and Gwen (Ron) Gerue.

Yvonne is preceded in death by her parents and parents-in-law, Tony and Marie Wierzba.

Special thanks to the people from Unity Hospice and our neighbors, you guys were absolutely awesome!  You really helped Yvonne and our family get through this difficult time.
