Larry A. DeJardin, 90, passed away peacefully at his home on August 2, 2024. He was born on May 27, 1934, in the town of Red River, the son of the late Joe and Alice (Berger) DeJardin. Larry grew up on the family farm and graduated from Luxemburg High School in 1952. Larry married Barb, the love of his life, on March 21, 1982. Larry and Barb were one of the first real estate teams in the area from 1981 - 2011. Prior to real estate, Larry owned his own business, Larry's Appliance Service.

He loved spending time with family and friends, especially his grandkids and great grandkids. He was never at a loss for words and he always had a story to tell. Larry absolutely loved the Packers, he was a true fan. He continued watching games until the very end, even when he couldn't see the TV anymore.

Larry is survived by his wife, Barb DeJardin; son, Steve (Cheryl) DeJardin; daughter, Sherilyn (Jeff Clark) Hastings; son, Jay (Karen) DeJardin; daughter, Ashley Bradford; grandchildren, Becky, Heather, Hannah, Jessica, Jonathan, Rick, Carrie, Patrick, Noah and Raiden. Sisters-in-law, Percy DeJardin, Judy DeJardin, Clara DeJardin, Cathy DeJardin, several nieces and nephews and 17 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joe, Mel, Ron, Don, and Kenny; sister-in-law, Pearl; mother-in-law and father-in-law, and grandson, Sheldon.

After Larry passed, his daughter Sherilyn unexpectedly passed away.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, August 15, from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, East Town location, 2379 E. Mason St. A memorial service will follow at 5:00 PM.
